The Boise Foothills are right in our backyard, a quick drive from campus and a solid way to get outside without eating up your whole day. Trails wind through sagebrush hills with views over the valley the whole way. We'll grab a group, drive out together, and hike with an instructor who knows the trails. No experience needed, just wear shoes you don't mind getting dusty.
The Stack Rock trail is an intermediate-level day hike. This 10-mile round trip trail leads to Stack Rock, an imposing granite tower with amazing 360 degree views of the Treasure Valley, Horseshoe Bend, and beyond.
